Our processes

Eagle Vizion offers state-of-the art optical sorting equipment to the recycled plastic industry. With a large and well-established R&D and engineering team, it offers unique sorting solutions giving recyclers the possibility to reduce rejected materials and increase profitability. Above high-quality colour and NIR optical sorters, EV has developed optical sorting solutions to sort PE by Melt, black plastic by polymer type (PE, PP and co-extruded plastics), micro-flakes (0.5 to 3mm) by polymer type, PET or HDPE bottles, paper, cardboard, wood, compost, aggregates and many other materials on demand. EV also offers optical quality control equipment, allowing recyclers to test their quality in-line and in real time.

  • Color categories can be adjusted to meet customer’s demands.
  • Particle size: 5 – 25 mm

Aquila Series

Description

Eagle Vizion’s AQUILA SERIES sorters extract valuable fractions from incoming streams and further purify already separated materials. The AQUILA SERIES sorters can sort fractions by type, color, or a combination of the two, including: PET or HDPE bottles, paper, cardboard, wood, compost and aggregates.

Detection

  • Can sort fractions by type, by color or both
  • Plastic containers, paper, cardboard, wood and aggregates
  • Particule size: 1”-3” and 3”-12”

Black sorter

Specifications

Eagle Vizion has developed a unique and revolutionary solution: a black polymer flake sorter designed to identify, and sort black plastics based on polymer type.

Detection

  • Sorts PE, PP, PE-PP Blends, Others
  • Black material identification by type
  • Particle size: 8 – 20 mm

Micro-Flake Sorter

Description

The Micro-Flake Sorter can sort a wide variety of polymers such as PE, PP, PET and PVC, among others, for particles down to 0.5mm. This series of sorters can be combined to our other sorting solutions to optimize the throughput of your sorting lines while increasing your material recovery.

Detection

  • Sorts PE, PP, PVC, PET, contaminants (such as paper, wood or glass) and other polymers upon request.
  • Particle size: 0.5-5 mm

Melt sorter

Description

Post-consumer PE is getting harder and harder to recycle since it’s impossible to guarantee what it’s Melt index will be. Eagle Vizion offers a new solution to help PE recyclers produce a post consumer PE with a controlled Melt index, therefore meeting market expectations –

Detection

  • HMW-PE (M = 0.01)
  • PE Blow molding grade (M = 0.3-0.8)
  • PE Injection molding grade (M = 4++)
  • Particle size: 5-25mm

Flake Analyzer
